For Sale. 1961 MGA Roadster. Iris Blue, black vinyl seats, black vinyl top, 72 spoke wire wheels, 1800 3-main MGB engine, stock transmission and rear end. This is an MGA that I have owned for 35 years. It has been my back-up MGA most of the time. I still drive the car but the engine and transmission are very tired. The visible rust on the car is mainly the passenger rocker panel and rear fender dog-leg. To restore the car would require everything new. To just have a car to drive I would suggest an engine rebuild or a transplant. Will sell for $6000. I live near Treynor, Iowa but I can deliver to the KC area. AUTO ROTISSERIE- FOR SALE
Tire of laying on a cold concrete garage floor?
I've completed my last major restoration and have a rotisserie for sale! I bought it from Stew (and it still shows his lovely Sea Foam green as proof). It works great for unibodied MGBs and midgets... might take a bit of "jiggering" for Triumphs.... don't know.
I will not sell it for larger full 2 ton sized cars... not a structural engineer... but wouldn't want to take a chance. It sells as is, with no warranty or guarantees.
I held it for an individual who claimed to want it desperately... who never showed up... so first guy/gal with $400 cash and a pickup truck gets it. New big fancy ones go for around $900+ last time I checked. It breaks down and will fit in the back of my short bed Ridgeline. I even took it to bead blaster's shop to make sure the bottom of the car got the full treatment.
I'm in and out so E-mail me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for questions or viewing in Prairie Village. If none of the KC LBC clubs members want it, it will go on Craig List next week or so.

I have around $6,000 invested, but I would entertain any reasonable offers. I have more photos. It shows 65,113 miles that I would expect to be accurate based on the condition. It has an additional cockpit cover, and the tires (tyres) are in very good condition. I haven't found any rust. There is a crack in the windshield, but I have a replacement which has not been installed. Interior is new. I also have a large basket of misc. parts, manuals and maintenance data from previous owner(s). It is a head turner, not concours grade, but more than respectable. The car runs good, and shifts smoothly but I may have driven it 50 miles since I got it as the little car and my substantial ass are just not a good fit.

Huge parts and projects sale
It is my desire to get out of the British parts business. I have been selling off my collection of parts, parts cars, and project cars this summer.
Starting out with 48 cars back on June 1st, now down to 23 cars as of Sept. 15th.
I am having a sale here at my building on October 13th and 14th. I will open the gate at 8 AM, close it at 4 PM. Gravel driveway is available to drive on, not the grass. All cars will be placed out for viewing to purchase or for you to pull parts from. I have boxes of parts that I have not touched in many years in the building. Those will also be brought out of the building and set out for you to dig through for that item you may need. No, I don't have any overdrives.
If you help me in my goal to rid myself of the remainder of this stuff, I will help you with a more than fair price on your Triumph or MG needs.
