September Country Drive

What a BEAUTIFUL day for a country drive! On Sunday 25 September John and Mary Boles (and Henry) hosted 13 cars and 25x fun loving members as they took to the road and drove through fields and dale (what ever that is) and forest for a 45 mile leisurely ride in their British steeds. Everyone had a great time, no one broke down, and we had a fine meal at Snead's BBQ on 171st and Holmes. There were lots of curves and hills and it seemed like we were the only ones on the road. Walt drove all the way with Rick as copilot and we welcomed new members Karen and Floyd Hutcheson in her new MGA. Peter Brown called me and said he was home in 10 minutes after our lunch and couldn't believe a drive like that was just out his back door. If anyone else has a fun route to drive let us know and we'll get the word out. Enjoy what's left of this great weather!!
