2011 Kansas City All British Car Show

The 29th Kansas City All British Car and Cycle Show is history!! On one of the most beautiful days of the year the show was held on Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th of September 2011 at the KCI Marriott. All of the cars were down in the trees by the lake and there were 119 entrants and 121 cars—every one of them works of art. Our club ran registration both days and while it got busy at times we got everyone registered and in place for the show. After 7 years (!!) this was my last time as Mr. Registration—our new Mr. Registration is Brock Jones and he did a fine job this year—we're in good hands!

Many thanks to those who helped: Bob A, Ken R, Mike O, Rick H, Jim D, Brock J, and me. I hope I didn't miss anyone. There were also 15 Winners from the MWMGA Club!! Congratulations to Brian Goldsmith, Charlie Hoch, Jim Danielson, Bob Andersen, Mike Oliver, John Boles, Bob McAdoo, Bob and Brock Jones, Joe Blackwood, John Styers, Walt Crist, Bill Davidson, Steve Boyse, Paul Briggs, and Bill Young. I think we should also congratulate Bill Young for running a great show again this year—he did an outstanding job! There were entries from Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Minnesota! We've received a LOT of very nice comments and I think this was (for me) the best show we've had in a long time. Thanks again to everyone who helped or participated. That's what it's all about.
